Ali Jahangir Siddiqui: Principal of JS Group

Ali Jahangir Siddiqui, who graduated Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Cornell University, New York, is the Chairman, Chief Investment Officer, and Managing Partner at JS Private Equity. He works as a Principal of Jahangir Siddiqui (JS Group), an Associate of Crosby Capital Limited (Investment Arm) and a Member of the founding team of Techpacific.com.

Ali Jahangir Siddiqui works closely with prospective investors. He started with his first company, Advance Micro Research (sold in 1995), where he incorporated multi-console network systems. He worked as a Director with Crosby Capital Partners and was based in Hong Kong.

Earlier to Crosby, Ali Jahangir Siddiqui was an Associate with Tech-pacific Capital where he was part of a group that managed private equity and venture funds investing in Asia-Pacific. He has been guiding companies and start-ups in the United States of America, Europe and Asia for numerous years.

Ali Jahangir Siddiqui works as the Chairman of Pak American Fertilizers Ltd. He is on the Board of Directors of Planetarabia.com and also works on the Boards of several fast-growing private sector companies in Pakistan. He is Non-Executive Director of Jahangir Siddiqui & Company Ltd (JSCL) and works as a Director of the Acumen Fund (Pakistan), Azgard 9 Ltd, Airblue Ltd and Pakistan International Container Terminal Ltd. He is a Director of the Mahvash and Jahangir Siddiqui Foundation (MJSF) and also is the Director of Azgard Nine Ltd.

Ali Jahangir Siddiqui has also worked as a Director of Pakistan Reinsurance Company Ltd and from 2002-2003.He worked as an Executive Director of JS ABAMCO, Pakistan's largest private sector mutual fund manager.


Earlier to JS Group (Jahangir Siddiqui Group), Ali Jahangir Siddiqui worked as a Director of Crosby, the investment and merchant bank. He has worked as a Director of Lucky Cement Ltd since October 26, 2009. In addition, Ali Jahangir Siddiqui is involved with a number of charitable and sustainable development organizations and groups.
